August Ames
August Ames: awards and recognition
Awards came from both audience voting and a critics’ organization.
The 2015 AVN fan award
AVN’s published winners list names Ames as Cutest Newcomer, explicitly identifying it as a fan award. The event took place in January 2015. This was separate from Best New Starlet, a category in which she was nominated that year.
The XRCO result
The X-Rated Critics Organization announced Ames as its Cream Dream winner in April 2015. The ceremony was held at Lure in Hollywood. XRCO’s New Starlet award went to Carter Cruise, so the two categories should not be combined.
A later AVN award
The 2017 AVN results name Ames as the winner of Most Spectacular Boobs in the fan-award section. The title reflects the organizer’s category wording. Together with the earlier results, it documents recognition at more than one stage of her career.
